SOUTH LAKELAND DISTRICT COUNCIL TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to facilitate the Mayor’s Sunday Parade, South Lakeland District Council has made the under-mentioned Order.
THE DIVERSION OF TRAFFIC, KENDAL (MAYOR’S SUNDAY PARADE) ORDER 2019
THE DISTRICT COUNCIL of SOUTH LAKELAND in the County of Cumbria under and by virtue of the powers contained in Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847. DO HEREBY ORDER THAT:- Those streets in Kendal specified in the First Schedule hereto shall be closed to all vehicles save those vehicles involved in the Mayor’s Sunday Parade and emergency vehicles during the period 9.45 am to 10.45 am on Sunday, 7 July 2019 Those streets in Kendal specified in the Second Schedule hereto shall be closed to all vehicles save those vehicles involved in the Mayor’s Sunday Parade and emergency vehicles during the period 11.20 am to 12.20 pm It is anticipated however that the closure shall only be in operation for such period of time as is necessary to allow a procession to proceed along the route of those streets specified in the First Schedule and Second Schedule The alternative routes to be observed by all vehicles other than those mentioned above shall be as specified in the Third Schedule hereto. THIS ORDER may be cited as “The Diversion of Traffic, Kendal (Mayor’s Sunday Parade) Order 2019”

From Stricklandgate (Library Road), Highgate, Kirkland (to Parish Church)
SECOND SCHEDULE
From Kirkland (Parish Church), Highgate, Stricklandgate (Library Road)
THIRD SCHEDULE
