THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OF WATER LANE, KINGS LANGLEY) ORDER 2019

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using thatlength of Water Lane, Kings Langley from its junction with Station Road south westwards for adistance of approximately 134 metres ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Primrose Hill, Railway Terrace, Lower Road, Red Lion Lane, Nash Mills Lane, A4251 (Hempstead Road/High Street), Church Lane and Water Lane or via Water Lane, Church Lane, A4251 (High Street/ Watford Road), Home Park Mill Link and Station Road.

The Order is needed because the replacement of existing utility covers is proposed to be executed on or near

the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 June 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However

the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

Acopy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and

5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD AND WOODSIDE) ORDER 2019

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. the A405 North Orbital Road/A41 North Western Avenue roundabout, Watford from its junction with the A41 eastbound slip road leading onto the eastbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue clockwise for adistance of approximately 163 metres.



An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenue, the A412 St Albans Road roundabout, A41 North Western Avenue, the A41 Hempstead Road/A411 Hempstead Road roundabout and A41 North Western Avenue.

2. the eastbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, Woodside from apoint 429 metres north east of its junction with the A41 Hempstead Road/A411 Hempstead Road roundabout north eastwards and south eastwards for adistance of approximately 1135 metres.



An alternative route will be via the A41 eastbound slip roadleading onto the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout, the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout and the A41 eastbound slip road leading onto the eastbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue.

3. the westbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, Woodside from apoint 1062 metres north west of its junction with the A412 St Albans Road roundabout north westwards and south westwards for adistance of approximately 926 metres.



An alternative route will be via the A41 westbound slip road leading onto the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout, the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout and the A41 westbound slip road leading onto the

A41 North Western Avenue.

4. the A41 eastbound slip road leading onto the eastbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, Woodside from its junction with the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout south eastwards to its junction with the eastbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue, adistance of approximately 405 metres.



An alternative route will be via the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout, A41 North Western Avenue, the A41 Hempstead Road/A411 Hempstead Road roundabout and A41 North Western Avenue.

5. the A41 westbound slip road leading onto the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout, Woodside from its junction with the westbound carriageway of A41 North Western Avenue north westwards to its junction with the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout, adistance of approximately 355 metres.



An alternative route will be via A41 North Western Avenu, the A41 Hempstead Road/A411 Hempstead Road

roundabout and A41 North Western Avenue.

6. the North Western Avenue bus link road, Woodside from its junction with North Western Avenue north westwards to its junction with the A405 North Orbital Road/High Road roundabout, adistance of approximately 113 metres.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access

to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 June 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However

the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

Acopy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and

5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING AND TEMPORARYWAITINGRESTRICTIONS IN OLD HOUSE LANE, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2019

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using thatlength of Old House Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with LangleyburyLane south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Bucks Hill ("the Road"), adistance of approximately 1700 metres.

An alternative route will be via LangleyburyLane, FirTree Hill, Redhall Lane, Chandlers Lane, Toms Hill and

Bucks Hill.

ADDITIONALLYall vehicles are prohibited from waiting at anytime on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 17 June 2019 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However,

the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Loudwater Lane, The Green, A412 (Scots Hill/Park Road), A404 Chorleywood Road

and Loudwater Lane.
