ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 23
PROPOSED INSTALLATION OF PEDESTRIAN AND CYCLE CROSSING ON THE A1 BARNET WAY IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
1. Transport for London hereby gives NOTICE that to facilitate pedestrian and cycle movements and to improve road safety, it proposes to install a pedestrian and cycle crossing on the A1 Barnet Way.
2. The Pedestrian and Cycle Crossing will be located at the Stirling Corner Roundabout, south side of Barnet Way, outside No. 72 Elstree Park and on the east side, from a point 62 metres north of the extended northern building line of No. 35 Arkley Park.
3. The centre of the pedestrian crossing will be situated 2 metres south of the roundabout. The associated zig-zag markings, (on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping at all times), will be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing. The zig-zags will extend southwards and northwards for a maximum of 25 metres in each direction.
4. Any representations in respect of this proposal should be made in writing and sent to Transport for London, Streets Traffic Order Team, Palestra, 197 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8NJ, quoting reference NP/REGULATION/STOT GLA/2019/0225, within 21 days from the date of this Notice.
