Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U67205, Knapp Close, Ledbury, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U67205, Knapp Close, Ledbury, at junction with Knapp Lane. Grid Ref: 370971/238335. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via The Homend onto Bank Crescent onto Knapp Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to Openreach joint box works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of June 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
