Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U70217, May Hill Road, Cliffords Mesne, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70217, May Hill Road, Cliffords Mesne, at the cattle grid south of May Hill carpark. Grid Ref: 368903/221944 to 369814/221963. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Barrel Lane onto the B4222 onto Oaks lane onto Cliffords Mesne and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to cattle grid maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th of June 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 11 days.
