TEMPORARY CLOSURE 41469 WATER STREET (DURSLEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 41469 Water Street from outside the property known as number 7 to outside the property known as number 24 for a distance of approximately 70 metres. The reason for the closure is for sewer works The road is expected to be closed from 1st July 2019 until 3rd July 2019 or until the works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH CKD12 (KINGSWOOD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) Public Footpath CKD12 in the Parish of Kingswood from its junction with the B4060 and running in a generally west north westerly direction for approximately 240 metres.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public from construction works.

This temporary closure Order came into force on the 12th July 2017 and due to works being incomplete, the Secretary of State consented to an extension to the Order until 11th July 2019. However, as nearby development works are still ongoing, and to prevent any danger to the public in the meantime, the Secretary of State has now granted a further extension of the said Order until 31st October 2019 or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
