GRANGE ROAD & VICTORIA ROAD, DARLINGTON

[ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2019

Darlington Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be:

On Wut Street into Northumberland Street and on Northumberland Street into West Street

To Suspend

Schedule 40.01 of the Darlington Borough Council (Moving Traffic) Consolidation Order 2019 to ellow two way traffic on Northumberland Street.

To Close

GRANGE ROAD - Entirely And

From its junction with Victoria Rood northwerds to the south side ol Northumberlend Street junction

Only one section to be closed at a time. NORTHUMBERLAND STREET At its junction with Grange Reed

It is anticipated that the closures will be effective commencing 21st July 2019.

SOUTH ARDEN STREET - Entirely VICTORIA ROAD

From Grenge Reed Roundebout to Feethams Roundabout southbound only

It is anticipated that the closure will be effective between 2000hours and 0530hours for 3 nights commencing 29th July 2019. An alternative route will be signed via Coniscliffe Road, Carmel Road North, Woodland Road, Bondgate, St Augustine's Way, StXuthbert's Way.

The Order is necessary to allow carriageway resurfacing works.

The maximum duration of the temporary restrictions under this Order is 18 months commencing from 21st July 2019.
