Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U65410, Pump Street, Bromyard, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U65410, Pump Street, Bromyard, between the junction of High Street to the junction with the A44 Bromyard Bypass. Grid Ref: 365444 / 254567. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal for southbound traffic is via High Street onto New Road onto the A44 and for northbound traffic is via New Road onto Little Hereford Road.

The said closure is required due to underground structure cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st of July 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
