NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1218 From Clodock To Oaklea, Longtown, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1218 From Clodock To Oaklea, Longtown, from Lower Hunthouse Farm to Welsh Hunthouse. Grid Ref: 333302 / 226410. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1219 onto Walterstone onto the Llanfihangel Crucorney to Oldcastle road onto the C1205 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to overhead cable renewal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 18th of June 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
