Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1165, Old Church Road, Colwall, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1165, Old Church Road, Colwall, from the junction of the B4218 to the junction of Stone Drive. Grid Ref: 375535 / 242865. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Mill Lane onto The B4218 Walwyri Road onto Old Church Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to boundary box and meter installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st of July 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
