Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U92202, Marlbrook Lane, Burrington, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U92202, Marlbrook Lane, Burrington, approximately 400m south of the junction with the C1017 to the junction with Willows Lane. Grid Ref: 343605 /271529. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1017onto Killhorse Lane onto Wigmore Road onto Marlbrook Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to duct crossing Installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come Into force on 1st of July 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
