NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U80005, East Street, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80005, East Street, Hereford, from the junction with Broad Street to the junction with Offa Street. Between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs on the following dates only; Tuesday 25th June, Tuesday 2nd July, Tuesday 9th July, Tuesday 16th July, Tuesday 23rd July and Tuesday 30th July. Grid Ref: 350908/239977. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Broad Street onto Kings Street onto St Nicholas Street onto the A49 onto the A438 (Newmarket Street) onto Union Street onto St Peters Square onto Offa Street.

Between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs on the following dates only; Tuesday 25th June, Tuesday 2nd July, Tuesday 9th July, Tuesday 16th July, Tuesday 23rd July and Tuesday 30th July.

The said closure is required due to construction works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 25th of June 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 8 weeks.
