Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under Its relevant powers, made the following Order: Y81200, Yazor Brook Cycleway, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the Y81200, Yazor Brook Cycleway, Hereford, from the junction with Yazor Road to the junction with Plough Lane. Grid Ref: 349482 / 240780. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Yazor Road onto the A438 onto Plough Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to cycle way widening and improvement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th of June 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 10 weeks.
