Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U72615, Burmarsh Road, Sutton St Nicholas, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72615, Burmarsh Road, Sutton St Nicholas, between the junction with the C1125 for approximately 200m along Burmarsh Road. Grid Ref: 353432 /246671. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1125 onto the C1124 onto Burmarsh Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to overhead structure cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 2nd of July 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
