(C124 SYKE ROAD. BURNOPFIELDi (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2019
The Council on 30/5/19 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 435 mtrs of C124 Syke Rd, Burnopfield from the junction of A692 Front St northwards to the junction with access road to Toft Gate Farm to enable carriageway resurfacing and maintenance works to be undertaken. Alternative route will be signposted from southern point of closure south west via A692, north west on CIO Pont Ln, north on B6308 Fines Rd, then north and east on B6310 to C124 Syke Rd and northern point of closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 12/6719 and are anticipated to be completed in 8 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Access will be maintained for emergency services.
(A167 NORTHBOUND DUAL-CARRIAGEWAY. PITY ME TO PLAWSWORTTO (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2019
The Council on 30/5/19 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on the northbound dual carriageway of A167 between Pity Me Roundabout and Red Lion Roundabout, Plawsworth to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the southern side of die northbound closure from Pity Me Roundabout southerly on A167 to Sniperley Roundabout: a) HGV traffic -then generally westerly on A691 to Lanchester then northerly on A6076 to Annfield Plain then easterly on A693 to Blind Ln Chester-le-Street b) Non HGV traffic -then north easterly on Dryburn Park turning northerly / north westerly on B6532 to Sacristan crossroads then easterly on B6312 to Red Lion Roundabout To the junction with A167 to the northern side of the restriction. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence between 7pm and 6.30am per night from 9/6/19 and are anticipated to be completed in 6 nights. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
