TEMPORARY CLOSURE 45853 SHORTWOOD ROAD (NAILSWORTH TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the
45853 Shortwood Road adjacent to the property known as Glenmore for a
distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works to an existing sewer
The road is expected to be closed from 24th June 2019 until 26th June 2019
or until the works have been completed. For further information, please

Public Footpath MST/30 in the Parish of Stonehouse is to be temporarily closed from its junction with Footpath MST/36 on the edge of Doverow Hill Woods and running in an east south easterly direction for approximately 320 metres, crossing the Parish boundary and continuing as Footpath MRA/57 in the Parish of Randwick, to its junction with Footpath MCA/2.
Footpath MWO/11 Woodchester
Public Footpath MWO/11 in Parish of Woodchester is to be temporarily closed from a point on Selsley Road and running in south westerly and easterly directions along Lagger Lane for approximately 1690 metres to a point where it joins Footpath MWO/10.
Footpath MWO/10 Woodchester
Public Footpath MWO/10 in Parish of Woodchester is to be temporarily closed from a point on Footpath MWO/11 and running in a north north easterly direction for approximately 350 metres to a point at the junction of Church Road and Southbank.
Footpath MWO/13 Woodchester Parish
Public Footpath MWO/13 in Parish of Woodchester is to be temporarily closed from a point at the junction of Church Road and Southbank and running in a southerly direction for approximately 110 metres to a point where it joins
Footpath MWO/14.
Footpath MMH/34 Minchinhampton Parish
Public Footpath MMH/34 in Parish of Minchinhampton is to be temporarily
closed from a point on Golf Course Road by the covered reservoir and running
in a northerly direction for approximately 95 metres.
The closures are necessary on health and safety grounds during the
construction of a water trunk main for Severn Trent.
This temporary closure Order came into force on the 7th January 2019.
However, as works are still incomplete the Council applied to the Secretary
of State for Transport for an extension which has been granted. Therefore the
closures will remain in force until 7th January 2020, or until the works are
complete, whichever is earliest.
Emergency and pedestrian access to adjoining premises is to be maintained. There are no alternative routes but access gates will be provided either side of where the works are taking place.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 3/202 HIGH STREET (CHALFORD PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 3/202
High Street from its junction with Marle Hill to its junction with Coppice Hill
for a distance of approximately 700 metres.
The reason for the closure is for remedial works to carriageway.
The road is expected to be closed from 12th June 2019 until 14th June 2019

the 41227 Upper Througham adjacent to the property known as Lower
Througham Farm for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the closure is for a new water connection.
The road is expected to be closed from 24th June 2019 until 26th June 2019

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH MTH/26 (BRIMSCOMBE AND THRUPP PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of public footpath MTH/26 (Thrupp) from its junction with Bourne Lane then extends in a generally south-westerly direction for approximately 178 metres to its junction with the London Road.
The public footpath falls within the Brimscombe and Thrupp Parish in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary for works on a collapsed dry stone wall. This temporary closure Order came into force on the 21st December 2018. As works are still incomplete the Secretary of State for Transport has granted an extension until 21st December 2019.Therefore the footpath will remain closed until 21st December 2019 or until the works are complete, whichever is earliest.
There are no alternative routes.
Emergency and Pedestrian access to adjoining premises is to be maintained at all times.
