M3 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 13) AND A335 ROAD
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited intends to make an Order on the M3 Motorway and the A335 in the County of Hampshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight closure of -
1. both carriageways of the A335 between centreline of Belmont Road and junction with Woodside Avenue and Passfield Avenue;

2. the all the roads leading to and from both carriageways of the M3 at Junction 13 (A335);

3. all gaps and turns in the central reservation of the length of carriageway described in 1. above;

4. all side roads at junction with the length of carriageway described in 1. above.

These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake carriageway works, highways maintenance works and all associated works. It is expected that the work would last for approximately 1 night starting on or after Monday 24th June 2019. The overnight closures would take place between 21:00 and 06:00 (maximum period). The Order would come into force on 22nd June 2019 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
Traffic affected by the closures would be diverted via other junctions of the M3 or by
using the A33, A335, B3043, Bournemouth Road, Winchester Road and Woodside Avenue. The temporary closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
