ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1)

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (HUNTLEY MOUNT ROAD AND PORRITT STREET, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding as follows:-

TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding as follows:-

1) Huntley Mount Road, Bury - between Bell Lane and Porritt Street.



2) Porritt Street, Bury - Huntley Mount Medical Centre Entrance and Huntley Mount Road



The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative route will be>

1) Via Thrush Drive, Ferngrove, coppice Street, Rochdale Old Road and Bell Lane and vice-versa.



2) Via Back Huntley Mount Road and Norman Street and vice-versa.



The Order comes into operation on Saturday 01 June 2019 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately between 4 to 6 weeks). Dated 30 May 2019 Council Solicitor

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (SIDE ROAD CLOSURES - BELL LANE, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding as follows:-

TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding as follows:-

1) Deal Street, Chesham Fold Road, Higher Row and Willow Street, Bury - at their junctions with Bell Lane



2) Huntley Mount Road, Bury - at its junction with Bell Lane



The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. The alternative route will be:-

1) Via Willow Street, Wash Lane, Parsonage Street and Bell Lane and vice-versa



2) Via Thrush Drive, Ferngrove, Coppice Street, Rochdale Old Road and Bell Lane and vice-versa



The Order comes into operation on Saturday 01 June 2019 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is weekends between 01 June 2019 and 30 September 2019. Dated 30 May 2019 Council Solicitor
