Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U65619, Chockbury Lane, Cradley, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U65619, Chockbury Lane, Cradley, from the junction of Bosbury Road for approximately 20m west. Grid Ref: 372646 / 246895. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4220 Bosbury Road onto the A4103 onto Chockbury Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to safe access to carry out underground cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th of June 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
