CHERWELL LOCAL PLAN 2011-2031 (PART 2): DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT POLICIES AND SITES 14 MAY 2015

Cherwell District Council is commencing work on Part 2 of the Cherwell Local Plan. Cherwell Local Plan Part 2 will cover the entire district and will cover the period 2011-2031 in line with the time period covered by Part 1 of the Plan. It will conform with and build upon the general development strategy and strategic policies of Cherwell Local Plan Part 1.

Part 2 of the Plan will contain detailed planning policies to assist the implementation of strategic policies and the development management process. It will identify smaller, non-strategic development sites for housing employment open space and recreation, travelling communities and other land uses, in accordance with the overall development strategy set out in Local Plan Part 1.

More information on what the Plan is likely to contain and the anticipated timetable for its production is available on the Council's website http://www.cherwell.gov.uk, or from the Planning Policy team on 01295 227985. You are invited to suggest what matters should be included in Part 2 of the Local Plan, or particular issues you consider it is important to have policies for.
