Temporary 40mph Speed Limit

A509 Derrylin Road, Bellanaleck (Derryhowlaght Scheme)

Notice is hereby given in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 that the Department for Infrastructure, being satisfied that traffic should be restricted or prohibited because works are being executed on A509 Derrylin Road, Bellanaleck at Derryhowlaght in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 7(1) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997, proposes to impose a 40 mph speed restriction for a period of 6 months from Thursday 30 May 2019 until Thursday 28 November 2019 as follows: A509 Derrylin Road, Bellanaleckfrom a point approximately 100 metres north of its junction with U8188 Drumhack Road, to a point approximately 850 metres north of its junction with U8188 Drumhack Road. Traffic signs warning that the use of the road is subject to the aforementioned restriction and to indicate the nature and extent of the restriction will be erected in due course.
